Statement Experimentation







For protest posters, the statement is often as important as the design, as discussed earlier. So for each of the designs dozens of statements were trialled in order to find one that communicated the message but also was memorable and had impact. For example the “eye spy” statement trialled was too cliché, it didn't have the serious nature the designs needed to have to compete at a university campus.
